Our last weekend in Monterey . . .

Well, the time has come. As of this friday, we will no longer be living in California.
This was our last weekend to enjoy some of the beauty only Monterey has to offer so off we went.

Friday we went to the beach. The girls had a blast and it was perfect weather!
Saturday was our big adventure day. We started out just heading down to Big Sur to see the waterfall and such.
The drive on Hwy 1 is amazing. If you have never done it, you should. We stoped along the way too look at the amazing view.

After we left the waterfall we decided to drive to Hearst Castle. What an awesome treat that was. At one point on Hwy 1 we were in a ton of fog . . . as we drove out we saw one of the most amazing things. Where we should have been looking @ ocean, all we could see was clouds. We had gone above the cloud bank. I mean, I have seen that from an airplane, but never this close up. I think the most amazing thing about it was you could HEAR the waves crashing but you could not see it. It really freaked out your senses. How awesome to experiance something like that. I have included some of the pix.

We contined our drive down hwy 1 until we got to 46. We just cut across there and headed back home on 101. About the time we got to salanis, we noticed the car was shaking . . . we pulled off on the next exit and into a Black Bear Diner parking lot. When we got out we saw that our back drivers side tire was COMPLETELY flat. UGH . . . just one more thng . . .
Anyways, it was about dinner time so the girls and I went in and got a table. Joshua changed the tire and came in to join us. We had a great meal and got home safely.

CHUCK E CHEESE

We took a trip to chuck e cheese tonight . . . our first time since christmas. i do believe one time a year is enough!! we have lived here for a year and a half and this is the first time we have been to this one!
ah well, the girls had a good time and it wore them out! tomorrow we are going to the aquarium! I am sure i will have more pix to post!

Our Adventure today . . . SANTA CRUZ !

We went to Santa Cruz today and had so mcuh fun. We figured it would be the last time we would have a chance to because these next few weeks are going to be crazy busy!

A post from Lizzy . . .

So in all of the free time I have, I began to read! Crazy, I know . . . :)

I am reading two very good books. One is called "The Power of a Praying Wife" and the other is "A Woman After God's own Heart"

Both are wonderful books and I am really learning a lot. It is hard to keep up with them in my crazy life though! Just taking care of these girls is a full time job . . . not including the house and everything else! By the time I have time to read, I am just ready to go to bed, know what I mean! Ah well . . . I will find time! I WANT to find time.

It really amazing when you see the change in your additude and your daily life when you read Gods word and actually study what he says.

Prayer is an awesome and poewrful thing. I love the praying wife book because sometimes there are things that I want to pray for for joshua, but just dont really know how to put it into words, and this book helps do that.

In the daily stress of my life (though I love it) I find myself pushing God aside. Pushing him aside to . . . get the laundry done, get a few more minutes of sleep , get a shower before the girls are up . . . anything. However, when I do that, I have noticed that I tend not to have a very good day. I snap @ the kids more, they snap more, and I am just not as happy as normal. Anyways, all of that to say . .. Please keep me in your prayers. To keep a constant prayer life with God.

Well, that is what was on my mind now, I am sure there will be more soon . . . and I hope something from Joshua!

Our First "Blog"

Well, we decided to create a place where you can come and check out what is going on in our lives and look at pictures without getting a bunch of e-mails.

So, here you go!!!!

Joshua is about 15 days away from taking his final test. He is doing a ton of studying, working as hard as he can to make sure he does the best he can.

Lizzy is sick and hardly has any voice. She is busy taking care of the kids and getting stuff ready for the move!

All 3 girls are doing wonderful! Keep us busy!!!

We move in less than a month so things are pretty crazy around here!!!
