A good Visit!

Joshua's mom, Diana came for a visit this past week. We had a lot of fun!! For the 4Th of July, we went to Bolling Air Force Base and sat on the Potomac River and watched the fireworks over the Washington Monument. It was a very awesome time!!! Monday we went into DC and saw some of the sights that she didn't get to see when she was out in Dec.

When I have more than 5 minutes, I will post some pictures from our adventures~

Reminding myself . . .

I need to constantly remind myself that God is Good and he always takes care of his children! He knows just what you need when you need it. It might not always mesh with YOUR timing, but it is always perfect in Gods! We have been SO blessed moving to VA. We had some pretty rough times leading up to moving here, but we just had to keep reminding eachother that things will happen in GODS TIME and we have to be paitent! That is a very hard thing for humans, to be paitent and wait for something. In this day in age when everything needs to be INSTANT. Why don't we just slow down and look around at the blessings God is POURING into each one of our lives every day??
So many times we get busy with our own lives and troubles and exciting things that we forget about the others in our lives. That can never be good. We need to remember to take care of our families . . . the ones God gave you, or the ones you have chosen . . . you are blessings to them and they are a blessing to you! God did not put us on this earth to take care of ourselves and no one else. When someone is going through something hard, we need to step it up and do what we can to help them out. You know that saying it takes a whole village to raise a child is so true. God wants us to take care of one another. It doesn't matter to Him if you are living right next door, down the street, or on the other side of the country or world . . . we are all Gods creations and we need to take care of one another!
I know this seems like a lot of random stuff all poured out onto the page, but it is what was going on in my head at the moment. Take it as you will . . .
BLESSINGS!

Almost there . . .

We have one week left until we are completely moved into the new house. It is really exciting! We got the keys last week , so every day, I am making 2-3 trips back and forth to move as much as I can in the van and get it un-packed and put away. I am hoping that on the 28th (the big moving day) we will only have the big stuff to move (and maybe a few boxes). That is my goal, anyways! :)

Joshua is doing some training this week that he is really excited about. I am glad he is enjoying his job so much! It is wonderful to see him thrive!

The girls are doing well and really excited about the new place too! The love how much space they have to play in now!

Well, that is the update for now. It sounds like we have a pretty big storm coming our way, so I am going to end this and get the computer off!

BLESSINGS :)

We have the keys!

Here it is. Our house!!! We are so excited! We don't actually move in until the 28th of June, but I got the keys today (the 19th) and throughout the next week, will be moving little by little and getting stuff put away that are already in boxes here.

This house is going to be wonderful for us. It is a block away from Abigails school, so we will be able to walk in the mornings. It is 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. it has a split level (main level) plus an upstairs and a finished basement! The extra space is going to be amazing!!!! The backyard is big . . .

and we are so excited to be living not just on a court, but a pipestem off of a court~ There are a bunch of kids around us, that are around the same ages as our kids.

How blessed we are to have this!!!

Blessings,
