DISNEY ON ICE!

I took the girls to go see Disney on Ice last week. I didn't tell them where we were going or what we were doing, so when we got there, they all freaked out! It was wonderful. We saw, Mickey & Minnie, Donald and Goofy, CARS, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Tinkerbell (Aubri's favorite!) I was very impressed . . . here are some of the best pictures of the night!

Fall leaves . . .

So, things here are going well. We are keeping pretty busy. The girls got to play in the first pile of leaves of the season a couple of days ago! They loved it . . . and all got baths afterward!
I wish I had more to update with, but sadly, I don't.

Joshua is doing well and working extremely long hours (15-17 hr days) He works and then exercises and that is about it. I talk to him MAYBE once a week , and get a few e-mails throughout the week as well. It is so wonderful to hear his voice!

The girls are all doing well. Emma caught some type of bug last Monday and spent the whole night being sick. Poor thing. Last night she woke up coughing like crazy and I had to take her into our bathroom and let her sit in the steam for about 20 min to get her to be able to stop coughing. If she is not better by Monday, i am going to take her to the dr.

I have my dr's apointments on Tuesday . . . I believe it is just the consults to find out exactly what they are going to be looking at and what for sure they want to take biopsys of. I will keep you all updated on that front.

Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks! Enjoy!!

Just Abby lookin' cool on her way to school ! :)

Marking two weeks . . .

So, Joshua has been gone for 2 weeks as of tomorrow, and tomorrow is our 7yr anniversary. I am very sad knowing that we will not get to be together, but it is weird, I'm not as sad as I thought I would be. I am just so very proud of my husband. He is working so very hard. I know that with him gone, I am completely responsible for these 3 amazing blessings that God has given me, and I can't let my sadness get in the way of trying to be the best mother I can be to them. They are all such amazing children.
Joshua is counting on me to raise these girls while he is away, and they are counting on me to take complete care of them as well.
Today, Abigail came to me and touched my face and out of nowhere said, "Mommy, I love you so much" It was so very sweet. Then she said, "you are such a good mommy. I know you miss daddy cause he is your best friend, but we told daddy that we are all going to take care of each other so we are going to take care of you like you take care of us."
Blessings . . . my life is full of BLESSINGS and God just keeps showing me over and over that he is with all of us through this time.
It was a good day after that.

Sad Days

So God has been so good to us since moving to Virginia. We have met some awesome people that have really touched our lives. Carrie and Rolland LaHaie are some of those people. Carrie and I became very close friends, and so did our girls. We are a great match for one another. Well, a few months ago, they found out Rolland was being re-assigned to Ft. Drum, NY. They left today. It has been a very sad day, and I hope they know how much they will be missed. However, I got Carrie set up on Skype, so that will be fun (if she answers! ) ;)

I think I am going to plan a trip to go see them for Thanksgiving. I hope it happens.

Anyways, here is a group picture of all of us on The LaHaie's last sunday at BCC and Joshua's last sunday (for the next 6 months).

I am going to miss her!

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Today is my dad's birthday. I miss him! So much! I want to call him and say Happy Birthday :(

Please hug your dad today if you can, and tell him you love him . . .

Tomorrow . . .

Joshua leaves tomorrow for his deployment. This makes me sad. I will miss him, but am so proud of him at the same time.
